Refunds and Returns

 

This document refers to the Pelican iSUP (Inflatable SUP). All other items in the store are subject to the manufacturers' terms and conditions and guarantees/warranties and fall under our general terms of use.

 

Avidity Pelican iSup Boards

 

EXCHANGE POLICY

 

  • No returns/refunds will be considered for iSUPs - they have undergone quality control.  
  • No exchange for a different product will be considered.
  • Avidity will exchange an iSUP board for the same product at our transport cost.
  • Contact us telephonically or via email within 24 hours of receipt, if the box has been damaged during delivery.  
  • We will arrange collection by courier - please ensure that all the components (*unused) are packed safely and boxed as they were on receipt.
  • To complete your exchange, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. 
  • On receipt and inspection an exchange product will be sent to you.
  • We exchange once only.
  • Goods that are returned in a condition other than their original and unused, or not reported within the requested time period,  will not be exchanged.

 

*PLEASE NOTE: ‘Unused' means that there are no marks on the item or any damage to the item. We will not exchange any item with any indication that it has been used. In such cases, the item will be returned to the purchaser. Avidity is not responsible for any item that is not returned in the manner set forth above. 

     

    PELICAN iSUP Warranty

    • We have a 12 month limited manufacturer's warranty (workmanship only) on the iSUP board.
    • This covers  any abnormal defect in workmanship and materials.
    • This does not include normal wear and tear.
    • Warranties only valid to original shipping address.
    • There is no warranty on paddles and accessories.

     

    ITEMS NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY:

    • Commercial use
    • Cosmetic issues
    • Damage due to incorrect use
    • Damage due to incorrect storage
    • Damage due to salt water corrosion
    • Damage due to negligence or breakage resulting from occurances outside of our control.
    • Boards purchased from vendors other than Avidity
    • Boards purchased in used condition
    • Any customer-initiated modifications/additions to the surface of the board
    • Rips, holes or tears as a result of accidental puncture

    HARD BOARDS - NO WARRANTY

    We have a 30 day return window for unused hard boards that have shipping damage or defects from the date of delivery, however we do not have a warranty on these products. Once the product is used or the return period has expired, there is no option to return or replace the board. Hard boards are fragile by nature and are likley to dent or ding in the lifetime of the board. Please be aware of this when purchasing.
